How do I enroll in the benefits my company offers using Kronos (UKG) WFR?
If you have been asked to make your benefit elections by logging into the Kronos (UKG) system, follow these steps as you move through the process.
Navigate to your Main Menu> My Info > My Benefits > Enrollment
Select under the enrollment option you are completing (New Employee Enrollment, Open Enrollment, Life Change Event)
If you start an enrollment, need to leave and return to it later to completing your enrollment, you will need to select the under the enrollment to proceed.
Read the Instructions tab thoroughly before proceeding on the benefit selections. As you enroll in benefits, be sure to read any instructions that are at the top of each section. Additional information on the benefit plan may be given on its specific tab.
When selecting benefits, use the button in the upper right corner to go to the next benefit plan.
For each available benefit option:
If you are automatically enrolled in a Benefit Plan by your employer, once you get to the tab you will see
If “waiving” coverage select the waive option
If your employer has included copies of plan information, you can access a copy of the document by clicking on the plan option and download a copy of the document by clicking on it.
If there is more than one option for a benefit plan (Ex: Medical), Click to compare the plans side by side
Select the plans and coverage levels, along with any attributes you would like to compare and select Next
When electing a benefit plan, you will select the plan name and then select the coverage level in the popup that appears.
If you select a plan that requires a spouse, child(ren), or beneficiaries be elected, the system will require you to add those prior to saving and moving to the next benefit. If you have already added those contacts to the system, you will click on + Add and select Add From Existing Contacts to select. If you have not added those contacts to the system yet, you will click on + Add and select Add New. On the popup you see to enter the contact, you will select the correct Contact Type (Emergency, Dependent, Beneficiary – you can chose more than one), fill in the First Name, Last Name, Relationship, SSN, DOB, Gender, and Full Time Student. Once filled out, click on Continue and the system will add them to your election. DO NOT ADD A CONTACT TO THE SYSTEM MORE THAN ONCE. ONCE THEY ARE ADDED YOU CAN ADD THEM TO ANY ONE OF THE BENEFITS, YOU DO NOT NEED TO ADD A NEW ONE FOR EACH BENEFIT.
On the Confirm & Submit page
Review all elections, verify all tabs have a green check mark next to them
If you wish you can download a copy of your elections by clicking the “Download PDF” icon
If you need to make a change to your election, select the on the plan you are wanting to update
Click to submit your benefit elections to Administration for processing
Note: Once Submitted, if a change is needed to your elections you will need to contact your employer for updating.
